BC Place, Vancouver Live Cam

BC Place stadium and the towers of downtown Vancouver stand in this webcam view, in British Columbia, Canada. The stadium roof is lit blue on the left of the frame, and lit apartment blocks fill the rest of it.

The stadium seats 50,000 under a retractable roof that replaced the air-supported dome of 1983, and it is used for football, rugby and concerts. Terry Fox Plaza with its four statues stands in front of it, and the Cambie Bridge crosses False Creek behind.

On event nights the streets in the frame fill an hour before kick-off and empty in twenty minutes afterwards. The roof lighting changes colour, so the same view is rarely the same shade twice.
