Prince George Downtown Live Cam

Low commercial blocks and open car parks fill the downtown grid of Prince George, in central British Columbia. Office towers stand in the middle distance, and the hills across the valley close the background.

The city grew at the confluence of the Fraser and the Nechako, and it remains the service centre for the northern interior of the province, with forestry and rail at the base of its economy. Highway 16 and Highway 97 cross here, which is why it calls itself the northern capital.

Winters are long at this latitude, and snow lines the kerbs in the live stream for much of the year. The Railway and Forestry Museum and several provincial parks lie within a short drive of the streets in view.
