Bluebird Nest Box 2, Murrysville Live Cam

Bluebird Nest Box 2 in Murrysville, Pennsylvania, looks straight down onto a thick, untidy nest of dry stems built inside the box. The nest fills almost the entire frame, leaving only a strip of pale wall along the left side.

The box stands in an open field on private land in Murrysville, a town in Westmoreland County east of Pittsburgh. Several small songbird nest boxes share this field, and a separate wide camera watches the same field from outside. The precise position of the box is not published.

The lens sits close to the nest, so single stems can be followed across the pile. Thick, pale stems lie on top, finer and darker strands show underneath, and the right corner of the box stays in shadow.
