Bald Eagle Nest from Above, Bluff City, Tennessee Live Cam

This camera looks down into the stick bowl of a bald eagle nest in Bluff City, Tennessee, from a point high above it. Two pale tree limbs frame the nest, and a dense green ground cover stretches out below.

Bluff City lies in Sullivan County in northeast Tennessee, on the South Holston River near Boone Lake. The nest is on private land and belongs to a female named Frances and her mate Franklin, a newer male who was named by viewers in 2023. In 2026 their first eaglet hatched on 5 March and the second two days later, and both had fledged by the end of May.

The camera can be repositioned: around midday on one October day it turned away to a grassy hillside with a bare tree, where an adult eagle sat on a branch, and then came back to the nest. In mid-October frames the nest is empty, with an adult eagle visiting now and then.
