Moonshine Mountain Coaster Cam Live

A mountain coaster runs down a wooded hillside at Gatlinburg, in the Tennessee side of the Smoky Mountains. The webcam looks over the track and the cars on it.

The ride is gravity only. A cable hauls each car to the top and the rider takes it down on a fixed rail, controlling the speed with a hand brake, which is why the queue moves at whatever pace the nervous set.

Gatlinburg has a whole strip of attractions like this one because the national park next door charges nothing to enter. The town takes the money instead, and it rebuilt quickly after a wildfire reached the edge of it in 2016.
