Weather and time
Norfolk Southern tracks in downtown Cornelia, Georgia, seen past a red caboose and a signal gantry beside the platform. A lamp post with a Welcome to Cornelia banner stands in the foreground.
Cornelia is a small town in Habersham County, in the foothills of northeastern Georgia. The line in front of the camera is the Norfolk Southern Greenville District, and the Big Red Apple monument stands a short walk from the tracks. The banner carries the town slogan, Let the tracks lead you here, and a brick stairway climbs the hillside behind the rails.
The camera moves rather than holding one view: the default shot looks north along the main line, while other frames show it turned toward the stairway, the planted slope and the paved platform with its black fence.
