Tama River at Yamazaki Kawara, Ome Live Cam

This camera looks over a broad sandy riverbank at Yamazaki Kawara on the Tama River in Yugi, Ome, Tokyo. Across the flat, green-blue water curves along the foot of a thickly wooded hillside.

The Tama rises at Mount Kasatori on the Yamanashi side and flows about 138 km to Tokyo Bay. The camera stands in Yugi-machi, with Okutama Bridge about 400 m away and the JR Ome Line a similar distance off. The Yoshikawa Eiji Memorial Museum is about 450 m to the west, and Ome Nishi Junior High School about 300 m to the south-east.

The foreground is bare sand and gravel with a few signs and low posts, so the water looks far away. Branches frame the top left and right of the view. The upstream station at Yugimachi 2-chome Kawara shows a rockier stretch.
