Tama River at Yugimachi 2-chome Kawara, Ome Live Cam

This camera watches a rocky stretch of the Tama River at Yugimachi 2-chome in Ome, Tokyo, from a grassy meadow. Boulders break the shallow water into small riffles, and a steep slope of forest and bamboo rises from the far shore.

The station stands in the Yugi district of Ome, in the upper Tama valley. Futamatao Station on the JR Ome Line is about 200 m to the east, and the temple Chosen-in about 350 m east. Yugimachi Kinoshita Park is about 300 m to the south-west.

A gravel bar runs in from the right and the foreground is open grass. A blue pole stands at the right edge of the frame, and at times a banner hangs from it across part of the view. The Yamazaki Kawara station lies about 800 m down the valley.
