Rockwood Railfan Park, Tennessee Live Cam

The fixed camera at Railfan Park in Rockwood, Tennessee, looks north across a signalled road crossing on a Norfolk Southern main line. Tall signal masts, crossing lights and a metal-sided warehouse fill the frame.

Rockwood lies in Roane County between Knoxville and Chattanooga, on the former Cincinnati, New Orleans & Texas Pacific line now run by Norfolk Southern. The city-run park at 125 West Rockwood Street has a gazebo with a railfan platform and a restored Southern Railway caboose.

The track crosses the street just ahead of the lens, with a gravel mound and a tall signal bridge in the foreground and a second mast beyond the crossing. Behind the rails stand a pale warehouse with green dumpsters, trees and low hills. At night the signal lights and street lamps stand out against the dark.
