Jonesborough Chuckey Depot, Tennessee Live Cam

From the Chuckey Depot Museum in Jonesborough, Tennessee, the camera looks east along Norfolk Southern's Knoxville East District. A road crossing with signals lies ahead, where the track curves away into the trees.

The depot was moved here from Chuckey and restored as a museum by the Watauga Valley Railroad Historical Society with the City of Jonesborough. The track is the A-Line, the former Southern Railway main line between Lynchburg, Virginia, and Chattanooga via Bristol. This view points east, toward Johnson City and Bristol.

A red caboose with a stair platform stands at the left edge, and the depot eave crosses the top of the picture. The ballasted track bends gently right beside a paved lot toward a crossing with a crossbuck and flashing lights. Dense green trees and a few small buildings close the horizon.
