Market Square Jaworzno, Poland Live Cam

This live HD webcam looks over Jaworzno's main market square, Rynek Główny, in the Silesian Voivodeship of southern Poland. The square is lined with historic buildings, cafes, and restaurants. At the far end stands the Collegiate Church of St. Adalbert and Catherine (Kościół Św. Wojciecha i Katarzyny), by Świętego Jana square (Plac świętego Jana).

Rynek Główny has been the city market square since 1825 and remains a commercial and social centre. Recent renovations added city lights, seen at dusk, and fountains set into the ground. Jaworzno lies in the Silesian Voivodeship, within the Katowice urban area, and is home to more than 90,000 people. The surrounding area has lakes, forests, and recreation spots such as Park Gródek, along with diving at the Diving Marina "Koparki" and the GEOsfera Centre for Ecological and Geological Education.

The camera faces the city park and is located at the Municipal Public Library.
