Garden Bird Table, Ruda Śląska Live Cam

A wooden bird table heaped with mixed seed and sunflower seeds fills this view of a garden in Ruda Śląska, next to a large dial thermometer. Behind the tray a mesh feeder full of peanuts hangs beside a log post with fat-filled holes, in front of a lawn, a pergola and flower beds.

Ruda Śląska lies in the industrial heart of Upper Silesia. Coal, steel and zinc works made it a cluster of industrial settlements and villages, joined into one city only in the 1950s. The stream description names tits, sparrows, hawfinches, jays and woodpeckers among the visitors, and clips have also caught long-tailed tits.

The camera looks along the tray from one corner, so great tits and collared doves landing on the seed are seen at close range. The thermometer-hygrometer on the wooden wall to the right shows the temperature and humidity at the feeder itself.
