Church of Our Lady Help of Christians, Kluczbork Live Cam

This camera looks at the main altar of the Church of Our Lady Help of Christians on Skłodowskiej-Curie Street in Kluczbork, Opole Voivodeship. A carved neo-Gothic triptych with gilded pinnacles rises behind a freestanding altar, a baptismal font and an ambo.

The church was built between 1911 and 1913, when the old chapel had become too small for the growing Catholic parish, and Cardinal Georg Kopp consecrated it on 1 June 1913. Designed at the Ministry of Public Works in Berlin, the brick building stands beside the town park and has been a listed monument since 2007.

The fixed view from high in the nave shows the triptych made in a Munich workshop, with the Virgin and Child crowned by two angels in its centre and scenes from the life of Mary on the wings. Stained glass windows and carved choir stalls frame the chancel.
