Divine Mercy Church, Stary Sącz Live Cam

This camera faces the sanctuary of the Divine Mercy Church in Stary Sącz, where the image of the Merciful Jesus hangs above the altar. Gilded rays spread around the painting, and a carved wooden relief of cottages, spruces and church towers runs behind it.

The church stands on Podegrodzka Street in the Osiedle Słoneczne estate, about 1 km north-west of the market square. It was built from 2007 to a design by architect Marek Jasiewicz, and the parish was established in 2009. The sanctuary décor, blessed in 2021, is the work of the local artist Andrzej Pasoń, whose relief symbolically depicts the town and the Sącz region.

Beneath the painting, with its inscription Jezu, ufam Tobie, a gilded tabernacle is set into a stone panel, flanked by wooden chairs. Granite steps lead up to the altar, and light from tall side windows brightens the white walls.
