Maruko River at Taka no Iri Sluice Gate, Ota Live Cam

This camera looks down a narrow stone-walled channel of the Maruko River at the Taka no Iri sluice gate in Denenchofu, Ota. A bright blue pipe spans the water in front of a low road deck at the far end.

The camera stands in Denenchofu 5-chome, a residential part of Ota. Shozen-ji Temple is only about 60 m away, Den-enchofu Special Support School about 250 m, and Canon Denenchofu Tennis Garden a similar distance. The Maruko River is a small waterway that runs from Setagaya into Ota.

A narrow plate is fixed to the left wall, with an iron railing running along the top of the bank. On the right, trimmed hedges climb a terraced bank behind a line of short grey posts, and grass grows in the joints of the stone blocks down to the dark water.
