Weather and time
This camera looks down into the Nomi River at Ikegami in Ota, where a tall, stained concrete wall rises above a narrow channel. A gauge board with a red sign stands against the wall, and a dark iron fence runs along the road in the foreground.
The station is in the Ikegami district, a temple town of southern Tokyo. The Ikegami Inari Bridge and the Ikegami Culture Center are both within about 100 m, Ikegami Elementary School is about 200 m away, and the grounds of Ikegami Honmon-ji Temple lie a short walk to the north. The Nomi River begins near Sakurashinmachi in Setagaya, runs through Meguro and Ota, and reaches Tokyo Bay.
The view is fixed. Only a thin film of water covers the concrete floor of the channel, so the gauge and the silt marks on the wall are easy to read, while a bridge railing and house roofs show at the top of the frame.
