Weather and time
This camera at Kamata Bridge in Setagaya looks straight at the stone wall that lines the Sengawa River. A graduated water-level staff stands against the stones, beside a red sign that marks the flood danger level.
Kamata Bridge is the last crossing on the Sengawa, which joins the Nogawa a short way downstream in this part of Setagaya. Kamata Library and the Kamata Community Center stand about 60 m away, and Kinuta Minami Junior High School is roughly 90 m off. Tamazutsumi-dori, a main road, runs about 150 m from the camera.
The close framing lets a viewer read the water level against the staff, with a metal railing and the road along the top of the wall. The lower rows of stones are darker where the water reaches, and only a thin band of shallow, greenish water shows at the bottom of the frame.
