Weather and time
This camera looks across the Nogawa River at Kamata Bridge in Setagaya, where slow, dark water fills a wide channel. A thick bank of green groundcover rises from the near side, and a pale concrete wall with a white access stair stands on the far side.
Kamata is a residential district in the south of Setagaya. Tamazutsumi-dori, the road that crosses at Kamata Bridge, runs about 70 m from the camera, and Kinuta Minami Junior High School stands roughly 200 m away. The Sengawa joins the Nogawa in this district, and the Nogawa then continues to the Tama River at Futakotamagawa.
The view is taken straight across the channel rather than along it, so the far wall runs level through the middle of the frame, topped by a metal railing and a green fence. A second station on the Sengawa, a short distance away, shows a close-up of a stone wall instead.
