Nogawa River at Higashi-Nogawa, Komae Live Cam

This camera faces the Nogawa River at Higashi-Nogawa in Komae, where rippling water runs toward a concrete road crossing with a dark opening. Angled wing walls and a paved slope line the far bank, and a black railing with a blue post runs along the near footpath.

Higashi-Nogawa 3-chome is a residential district on the western edge of Komae. Komae No. 4 Junior High School stands about 250 m to the south-west, Kasumine Shrine is about 350 m to the north. Kitami Friendship Square is a few hundred metres to the south-east, and the Nogawa runs on toward the Tama River at Futakotamagawa.

Unlike the grassy reaches farther upstream, this view is dominated by concrete structures at the river itself. Small riffles break the surface in the middle of the frame, and reeds at the foot of the railing hide part of the near bank.
