Weather and time
This camera at Miyashita Bridge in Setagaya faces a tall retaining wall of diamond-patterned concrete blocks on the Sengawa River. A yellow water-level staff stands against the wall, and a stand of tall grass fills the shallow channel in front.
The station is in the Kamisoshigaya district of western Setagaya. Kamisoshigaya Shinmei Shrine stands about 70 m away, with Kamisoshigaya Shinmei Park roughly 120 m off. Seijo-dori, a main street, runs about 150 m away. The Sengawa is some 21 km long and rises in Koganei, upstream of the Setagaya stretches.
Only a narrow strip of the channel shows between the wall and the near edge of the frame, so the view reads as a close-up of the masonry rather than a river scene. A metal fence runs along the top of the wall, and small drain openings dot its base at regular intervals above the dark water.
