Meguro River at Funairiba, Meguro Live Cam

This camera looks across the Meguro River at Funairiba in Nakameguro, Meguro, toward a long wall of grey masonry blocks. A row of small square plaques runs along the top of the wall.

Funairiba is a riverside site in Nakameguro 1-chome, and a box-shaped flood-control basin lies underground beneath it, taking in water when the river rises. Nakameguro Park is about 200 m from the camera, and Naka-meguro Station about 450 m. From this area the Meguro River continues on to Tokyo Bay.

Ivy trails down the upper wall in several places, and a white strip and a dark band separate it from a second, lower wall of darker blocks. That lower wall drops straight into the water, which fills the bottom of the frame.
