Val di Luce Central Square, Abetone Live Cam

Val di Luce is a ski station in the Abetone area of the Tuscan Apennines, and this fixed camera watches its central square. A long chalet-style building closes the square, with a steep rocky peak rising behind it.

The station lies at about 1,430 metres in the province of Pistoia, in a side valley of the wider Abetone ski area. The central square is where visitors arrive at the resort and the starting point for the lifts and slopes.

The camera faces north-east across the open paved square. A few dark mountain pines and a strip of grass frame the foreground, a small car park lies at the left edge, and the building with its many dormers and chimneys spans the middle of the view. Forested slopes and bare rock above it show how steeply the valley rises.
