Lago Cerretano, Cerreto Laghi Live Cam

This view looks across Lago Cerretano toward the village of Cerreto Laghi in the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines. A grassy ski slope rises through the woods on the left, and a rugged mountain ridge fills the horizon.

Cerreto Laghi is a mountain resort at about 1,350 metres above sea level in the comune of Ventasso, in the province of Reggio Emilia. It lies close to the border between Emilia-Romagna and Tuscany, and the ski slopes start right beside the water. Hotels, bars and restaurants gather around the lake, and a lift station stands on its shore.

Of the cameras in the resort, this one is dominated by the water: the lake fills the lower half of the frame, with the village buildings along the far shore. The view is fixed. In autumn the surrounding woods turn yellow and orange, and the calm surface mirrors the slope and the houses.
