Pemont Panorama, Livigno Live Cam

This elevated view looks south over the Livigno valley from Pemont, a district on the northern side of the town. The houses of Pemont fill the middle ground, while the church and the centre of Livigno appear further along the valley floor.

Livigno stands at about 1,816 m in a valley roughly 15 km long, in the province of Sondrio in Lombardy. Its stream, the Acqua Granda, flows into the Inn and so towards the Danube, which places the valley outside the Italian drainage basin. Livigno has long been a duty-free zone, outside the customs territory of the European Union.

The camera is fixed and faces south-southwest from a hillside above the village, with a larch, a heart-shaped sculpture and a children's playground in the foreground. Forested ridges and the mountains at the head of the valley fill the horizon, showing how far the valley runs.
