Carosello 3000 - Livigno Live Cam

The Livigno valley runs the length of this view from the top station of the Carosello 3000 cable car, with the reservoir at its head. Larches turn yellow on the slopes in October.

The town lies along the valley floor at about 1,800 metres, spread thin between the ski runs on either side. A chairlift and its drive house stand in the foreground, on ground that is bare here while snow already covers the pistes above.

Livigno is a duty-free enclave: because of how hard it once was to reach across the passes, it keeps an exemption from Italian and EU excise and VAT, and much of its trade runs on that. The resort holds around 115 kilometres of piste, and the webcam covers the top of it.
