Weather and time
This camera looks up the debris-covered slope of the Brienz/Brinzauls landslide in the Albula/Alvra municipality, Graubünden. The view shows a broad chute of broken rock running down to a meadow at the foot of the mountain.
Brienz/Brinzauls is a village on a terrace above the Albula valley, at roughly 1,100 metres above sea level, and belongs to the municipality of Albula/Alvra together with six other villages. The mountainside above it is marked as Igl Rutsch on the Swiss topographic map. It is a large area of loose rock and moving ground.
The camera is fixed and shows the lower part of the slope from its foot. A rocky buttress rises on the left, conifer forest borders the chute on the right, and a paved track with a line of yellow markers runs along the bottom of the view.
