Chair 14 Outpost, Mammoth Mountain Live Cam

This camera looks from the Outpost at the foot of Chair 14, on the west side of Mammoth Mountain, up a forested slope to a rocky crest. Its main view follows the line of lift towers climbing through the pines toward a pink-grey rock outcrop.

The Outpost is a small on-mountain stop at the base of Chair 14, reachable only on skis or a snowboard in winter. It has a raised deck and picnic seating among the trees, where riders take a break before the next lift ride. It sits on the quieter backside of the mountain, away from the main lodges and The Village.

The camera moves through several preset views. Besides the lift line, it looks up a wide cleared run with a small hut at its foot, across a broad ridge of rock and conifers, and at a slope with a tall pine in the foreground.
