Eagle Lodge, Mammoth Mountain Live Cam

A gravel road curves across open ground below a chairlift tower at Eagle Lodge, on the eastern side of Mammoth Mountain in California. A three-storey building stands at the left, and the cable runs off into the conifers behind it.

Eagle Lodge is one of the base areas of the Mammoth Mountain Ski Area, close to the town of Mammoth Lakes in Mono County. The Eagle Express chairlift starts beside the lodge, and a row of chairs hangs from the cable that crosses the frame. A wooded hill closes the horizon at the centre, with a distant ridge peeking out at the far left.

This camera keeps a single, fixed angle aimed along the lift line, so the road, the tower and the tree line stay in the same place in every frame. It looks at the open ground below the lodge rather than at a terminal or a plaza.
