St. Augustine Lighthouse, Anastasia Island Live Cam

This fixed camera looks at the black-and-white spiral lighthouse tower on Anastasia Island in Saint Augustine, Florida. The red lantern room rises above a line of oaks and palms.

The tower of the St. Augustine Lighthouse stands on Anastasia Island across the Matanzas River from the historic center of the city and was completed in 1874. Visitors can climb its 219 steps to the gallery below the lantern, and the grounds also hold a maritime museum.

The frame is close and fixed, with the tower slightly right of center, treetops along the bottom and open sky above. Other cameras in the city show the lighthouse only as a faint shape beyond the river, while here it fills the view.
