Vilano Boat Ramp, St. Augustine Live Cam

This fixed camera watches the Vilano Boat Ramp, a public launch with a floating dock, on the Intracoastal Waterway in Florida. Trucks back trailers down the concrete ramp while boats tie up at the dock beside a picnic pavilion.

The public ramp sits just west of the Vilano Bridge on A1A, on the mainland side of the Tolomato River. St. Johns County operates it with three launch lanes, two floating docks, restrooms and a large parking lot. Boaters use it to reach the river and the nearby inlet.

The view faces across the ramp and over a wide salt marsh, with a distant bridge and the St. Augustine skyline on the horizon. Palms line the lot on the right, and a palm and the pavilion frame the left. The framing does not change, so the tide, the trailers and the boats coming and going show the pace of the day.
