Live Boat Webcams
What boat webcams show
Boat webcams show vessels on the move: ferries, yachts, fishing boats, barges and cargo ships. The cameras look out over harbours, rivers, canals and locks — wherever traffic on the water is part of daily life.
Watching boats has its own rhythm. Ferries keep to a timetable, fishing fleets leave before dawn and come back with gulls in their wake, and sailing boats turn out in numbers on a windy weekend. Large ships move slowly enough to follow across the frame, and their names can often be looked up in a ship-tracking service to see where they came from.
The season sets the scene. Summer brings pleasure craft, regattas and tourist boats, while in winter many yachts are lifted out and the water belongs to working vessels. Strong wind shows in boats tugging at their moorings and spray over the bow. At night the frame shrinks to navigation lights — red, green and white — gliding across the dark.
