Roermond Marina, Eastern Jetties Live Cam

This camera stands on a grassy bank at the eastern end of the marina in Herten, Roermond, between two long jetties crowded with motor boats. A floating walkway with mooring posts runs below, and the white Roermond TV tower rises over a meadow and houses to the east.

This harbour on the Maas, in the Dutch province of Limburg, has water and electricity points along every jetty. The tower beyond the meadow stands in the Roer-Zuid district and first went on air in 1958. Between Roermond and Thorn, lakes left by gravel digging form a recreation area of about 15 square kilometres.

The camera turns between two main views. One looks straight up a long jetty of motor cruisers and sailing masts, at times with a white railed gangway at its foot, and the other swings right along the walkway towards the TV tower and the houses beneath it.
