Rail Crossing, Helmond Live Cam

A level crossing on the Eindhoven-Venlo railway lies in front of this webcam at Helmond, in the province of North Brabant. Cyclists wait at the barriers on the Mierloseweg, and the line runs off past a small station beyond them.

The route carries local and intercity services between Eindhoven and the German border, so the barriers here come down every few minutes through the day. Helmond 't Hout, the nearest station, is the halt visible down the line.

The crossing sits in an ordinary residential district, and the cycle paths on both sides carry as much traffic as the road. The overlay lists the distances to the towns along the line.
