Downtown Skyline, St. Augustine Live Cam

This camera looks across the Matanzas River toward the historic downtown waterfront of Saint Augustine, Florida. Red-tiled roofs, twin towers and a tall chimney rise above the low bayfront.

The view is taken from the opposite shore on Anastasia Island, so the old town is seen from across open water. A cream-colored multi-storey building anchors the left side, and a domed building and a slender spire stand further right along the skyline.

The frame is a wide fixed panorama, with water filling the lower half and sky the upper part, and now and then a boat passes in front of the skyline. Unlike the camera on the Matanzas River that looks east at moored sailboats, or the cameras at the Bridge of Lions and Castillo de San Marcos, this one faces the old city itself.
