Mooselookmeguntic Lake, Oquossoc Live Cam

The camera looks across Mooselookmeguntic Lake from a stony shoreline near Oquossoc, in the Rangeley Lakes region of western Maine. A wooded ridge runs down the left side of the frame and low blue hills close the horizon.

Mooselookmeguntic is one of the big lakes of the Rangeley chain, surrounded by forested mountains and lined with summer camps. The shore in view is a gravel beach with a rocky point, a small wooden deck with yellow chairs and a stone retaining wall at the left edge.

This is a fixed view out over open water, with the shoreline curving away to the left. In October the birch on the left was yellow and the slope behind it orange, and the water ranges from calm grey to bright chop on windy days.
