Main Street, Stratton Live Cam

This camera watches the junction of Main Street and School Street in Stratton, where Maine State Route 27 runs through the village. A painted crosswalk spans the road in front, and School Street leads away past white houses toward wooded hills.

Stratton is a village in Eustis, a Franklin County town of 641 residents. Route 27 links it with Sugarloaf Mountain to the south and the Canadian border at Coburn Gore to the north, and Flagstaff Lake lies just north of the village.

Mounted on a store beside the highway, the camera shows the surface of Route 27, a handy check on road conditions before driving through. The large maple on the corner lawn at the left edge marks the seasons, turning bright orange in October.
