Lake Conroe Live Cam

This high view over Lake Conroe in Texas looks past a grassy point with a small lakeside building toward a wide stretch of open water. Rock-lined banks curve around the point, and a low wooded shore runs along the far horizon.

Lake Conroe is a reservoir on the West Fork of the San Jacinto River, north of Houston, built in the early 1970s and managed by the San Jacinto River Authority. It stretches about 21 miles through Montgomery and Walker counties. Resorts, marinas and lakeside neighborhoods line its shores, and the lake draws boaters and anglers from across the Houston area.

The camera keeps one fixed view, with the point and its oaks in the lower left and open water filling the rest of the frame. A sheltered pool lies behind a stone edge below the point. During the day small boats cross the lake and leave long wakes toward the far shore.
