Ski School Slopes, Sappada Live Cam

This webcam looks across an open meadow at the foot of the Sappada ski slopes toward a forested valley and the jagged Carnic Alps. A grassy ski slope with lift pylons runs down the hillside on the left.

Sappada is a ski resort in the province of Udine, in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region, at an altitude of about 1,250 metres. The beginner slopes known as Campetto lie close to the centre of the village, and the Col dei Mughi chairlift serves the slope above them. Further up the valley the summits of Terza Media, Croda Casara and Terza Grande close the skyline on the right.

Unlike the village-centre views, this one shows no streets, only a few wooden chalets at the edge of the meadow, the dark forest and the mountains. In autumn conditions the meadow is green and the rock faces are bare.
