Hearne calls itself the Crossroads of Texas, and the Union Pacific Bryan, Ennis, Austin and Hearne subdivisions come together around the yard here, with a connector track from the Ennis line to the Austin line. The depot at 139 West 9th Street is a Southern Pacific and Missouri Pacific building more than a century old.
