This camera at Tower 3 in Flatonia, Texas, looks along a single Union Pacific main track beside a wide gravel lot. Two large trees stand between the rails and the road, with low town buildings far down the line.

The track is the Union Pacific Glidden Subdivision at milepost 119.56, where freight trains and Amtrak’s Sunset Limited, numbers 1 and 2, pass through. Flatonia is a small town in Fayette County, and the tower stands on West South Main Street beside the railroad park.

The framing is not fixed: at times the shot is tight, with the trees filling the middle, and at other times it widens to show more sky and more of the far end of the lot.
