Weather and time
This fixed camera at the New Braunfels Railroad Museum in Texas looks east along the Union Pacific track toward the town centre. Two-story commercial buildings, shade trees and a parking lot with pickups line the right side, with a billboard above the roofs.
The museum occupies the former International & Great Northern passenger depot, built in 1907. A local historical society leased it in 1986 and turned it into a railroad museum. The line in front is the Union Pacific Austin Subdivision, where trains keep to 30 mph through town and Amtrak's Texas Eagle shares the rails with freight.
The weathered wooden wall of a museum building fills the left edge beside an iron fence. The single track runs straight ahead to a street crossing, and the framing never changes, unlike the museum's second, movable camera.
