Weather and time
Watch the "Fyr til Fyr" live webcam, which follows Norway's coast from north to south. "Fyr til Fyr" means "Lighthouse to Lighthouse", and the multi-camera streams show several lighthouses that guide ships and serve as historical landmarks.
The journey starts at the northern end of the island of Andøya, with Andenes Fyr Lighthouse in Nordland County. Built in 1859, it is a tall, red-painted lighthouse on the waters of the Norwegian Sea. Further south, in Møre og Romsdal County, the webcam shows the small village of Alnes from Alnes Lighthouse on Godøya (Godøy Island). Built in 1876, it stands on the rugged coast with views of the ocean and nearby islands.
Along the coast you also reach Tungenes Lighthouse, at the northern tip of the Jæren coast near Stavanger in Rogaland County, which has a museum and walking paths. The route ends at Lindesnes Lighthouse in Agder County, Norway's oldest lighthouse, at the southernmost point of the mainland; it has guided sailors since 1656. To find the location of Alnes Lighthouse and the surrounding area, use the interactive map further down the page.
