Fremont Lake View, Michigan Live Cam

A fixed elevated view from the west side of Fremont, Michigan, over sports fields and woods to Fremont Lake on the horizon. Metal-roofed farm warehouses, a gravel yard and parked trucks fill the lower right corner.

Fremont is a small city in Newaygo County in western Michigan and the hometown of the Gerber baby food company. The camera stands near the farm cooperative on West Main Street, which sells feed, seed and fertilizer to growers in the area. Fremont Lake lies about two kilometers to the south, beyond the fields and a belt of trees.

The lake appears as a bright band across the whole width of the frame, with a low wooded shore behind it. Lawns and long low buildings border the sports grounds on the left, while a circular drive and storage sheds sit to the right. In autumn the trees between the fields and the lake turn yellow, orange and red.
