East Peak Chairlift, Caberfae Live Cam

This fixed view looks up the East Peak Triple chairlift from its base station at the Caberfae ski area, west of Cadillac in northern Michigan. The lift line climbs straight up a grassy slope cut through dense deciduous forest.

Caberfae is a ski and golf resort in Wexford County, in the northern Lower Peninsula of Michigan. Its ski area dates back to the late 1930s and is among the oldest in the state. The runs cover several peaks, including North Peak, South Peak and East Peak. This lift rises southeast from the base area to the top of East Peak.

The grey hood of the bottom bullwheel sits in the middle of the frame, beside a small operator hut and a red Wait Here gate at the loading point. Snow guns line the right edge of the run, and a dirt service track crosses the slope above the station. The camera does not move.
