Lake Monterey Boat Launch, Michigan Live Cam

This camera overlooks the boat launch on Lake Monterey near Hopkins, Michigan, with a ramp, a dock and moored boats. It also turns toward the floating marina docks and the wooded shores of the lake.

Lake Monterey is a 262-acre lake in Salem Township, Allegan County, between Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo. Its shores hold the sandy beaches, houses and campsites of a camping resort, and the western shore has a slipway beside a road that runs along a rock-lined embankment. Hardwood forest grows close to the water around much of the lake.

From the launch point the view changes between several stops. One shows the boat ramp with a railed dock and a pontoon boat moored beside it. Others show a cross-shaped floating dock with a motorboat, the open water with a pavilion on the far shore, and the paved lakeside road with its stone embankment.
