Weather and time
This camera looks north over the water at Cundy's Harbor in Harpswell, Maine, framed by a slender birch and leafy shoreline trees. A small wharf with a float stands at the left, and a long wooded shore stretches across the far side.
Cundy's Harbor is a fishing village on the eastern side of Sebascodegan Island, which locals call Great Island. Harpswell lies on Casco Bay and is made up of Harpswell Neck, three large islands joined by bridges and dozens of smaller ones. Lobstering shapes the town, which holds more active lobster licenses than any other place in Maine.
A second camera at the same site faces south toward the busy moorings, while this north view is the quieter one, with open water, a low ledge near the far shore and just a few boats at anchor. A strip at the bottom of the picture shows the temperature and wind.
