Cape Porpoise Inner Harbor Live Cam

The sheltered inner harbor at Cape Porpoise in Kennebunkport, Maine, is seen across still water toward a shore of homes and tall trees. Small skiffs and work boats ride at their moorings, with weathered floats and a wooden dock in the foreground.

This cove is the innermost part of the harbor, tucked between Pier Road and Langsford Road near the cafés and shops of the village center. Seafood sellers stand along the roads around the water, and the town pier at the end of Pier Road serves the local lobster fleet. Islands farther out keep the cove sheltered from the open Atlantic.

This camera looks west across the cove, so the houses on the far bank catch the morning sun and their reflections stretch over the water on calm days. Compared with wider views of the harbor, this one stays close on the moored boats and the homes along the bank.
