Taoyuan Airport North Runway Live Cam

This camera looks out from the north observation deck of Terminal 2 at Taoyuan International Airport toward the north runway. Aircraft wait at the jet bridges below, while other jets roll along the airfield beyond.

Taoyuan International Airport lies in Dayuan District of Taoyuan City, about 40 kilometres west of Taipei, and is the busiest airport in Taiwan. Terminal 2 opened in 2000 to relieve the original terminal. The north runway, 05L/23R, is 3,660 metres long.

The camera turns during the day between close-ups of jets at the gates, often in China Airlines colours, the apron with baggage carts and wide shots across the runway. Beyond it a checkered red-and-white tower with a white radar dome stands among green fields, and in clear weather the sea shows on the horizon.
