Minami-Asakawa River at Kamikunugida Bridge, Hachioji Live Cam

This camera looks across the Minami-Asakawa River at Kamikunugida Bridge in Hachioji, Tokyo, from a grassy bank. A shallow stream trickles over a stony bed between overgrown banks, with a stone-faced slope on the left and a blue steel beam at the far right.

The station stands in Takao-machi, on the western edge of Hachioji, a short walk from the Koshu Kaido highway. The Keio Takao Line passes about 120 m to the east, and Takao Komagino Garden lies about 150 m to the north-west. The Minami-Asakawa is a tributary of the Asakawa River.

The water here is only a thin ribbon, so the stony bed, the bushes on the bank and the white marker pole on the left slope tell most of the story. Tree shadows move across the left bank during the day.
