Yudono River at Azuma Bridge, Hachioji Live Cam

This camera looks down on the Yudono River at Azuma Bridge in Katakura, Hachioji, between grassy slopes and concrete walls. A low stepped sill crosses the stream, and a railed road runs along the top of the far bank.

Azuma Bridge crosses the river in Katakura-cho, a residential part of south-western Hachioji. Katakura Station on the JR Yokohama Line is about 400 m away, and Fujitanito Park is a short walk from the bridge. Yui Junior High School stands roughly 500 m off. The Yudono River rises in the Tama Hills and joins the Asakawa at Naganuma, farther downstream.

The picture is taken from above the near bank, looking along the channel. The pale stepped sill breaks the current into ripples, while a dark retaining wall and a railing close the view at the back. The sill is the easiest landmark for telling this view from other Yudono River cameras.
